3Dmagination @ the UK Bio-XFEL single particle imaging workshop

The workshop was organised by Pr Ian Robinson (UCL), Dr Mohammed Yusuf (STFC/UCL), Pr Stan Botchway (STFC), and Dr Dave Clarke (STFC). It took place on 2-3th of June and brought together the life science research community with experts in X-FEL operation and exploitation, with the aim of promoting the usage of X-FELs for Single Particle Imaging by UK biological and biomedical researchers. The speakers were of great quality. We found very interesting the presentation of Riccardo Bartolini (Diamond Light Source, UK) who gave a nice overview of the possible options for a UK X-ray FEL facility.
